Richmond Road is a critical arterial road connecting Marsden Park and surrounding growth area suburbs to the broader Sydney road network. Upgrade works are currently active to improve the road's capacity, safety, and amenity as population growth puts increasing pressure on the corridor.

Works include: - Widening to additional lanes in key sections - New and upgraded signalised intersections - Improved pedestrian and cyclist facilities - Better connectivity to residential streets - Drainage upgrades

The upgrade is being delivered in stages by Transport for NSW in coordination with Blacktown City Council. The road carries significant volumes of traffic from the North West Growth Area and plays a vital role in connecting residents to employment centres, schools, and services.

Motorists should expect some delays during construction works. Updated traffic information is available via the Transport for NSW website.
